The Student Handbook
Welcome to Cross Academy, a private selective school. First and foremost I would like to congratulate you for being offered a place among us, and thank you for accepting our offer. We are excited to have you join our student body and hope that our education will help excel you through life's journey. We cater for student's in High School, students must age between 14-19 to qualify for attendance
All students are expected to read this guide to Cross Academy, with all rules to be followed accordingly. If any of these rules are broken on a number of occasions by a student, for the well-being of the Academy, said student will be suspended or expelled.
When attending Cross Academy boarding school you are expected to live by a certain order of conduct while living on the premises. These rules apply to both the Day Class and the Night Class, they are as follows;

General Rules of Conduct -
- You are expected to respect your fellow peers and teachers
- No cussing or any other rude gestures towards teachers or fellow students
- You must obey the teachers instructions
- Fighting is prohibited on all accounts
- Bullying is taken seriously here at Cross Academy, and such matters can lead to immediate expulsion
- Show self respect
- Use common sense
School Related Rules -
- Day Class lessons begin at 9am and end at 3pm
- Night Class lessons begin at 4pm and end at 10pm
- Uniform must be worn at all times during normal schooling hours by all students, this is black for Day Class students and white for Night Class student
- Alcohol and any type of drug is prohibited
- Medication must be handled by the School Staff
- The old barn, and the forest are out-of-bounds for all students
- Any item used in a threatening manner (a weapon) will be confiscated and your parents immediately notified
- No cell phones, ipods or any other electronic device to be used in class, a teacher may confiscate any items they see fit
- Students are allowed one laptop for personal use in their dorms
- All homework must be completed on time and handed in, unless you have an accepted reason
- You are expected to attend all your lessons, unless you have an acceptable and provable excuse.
Dormitories -
- Day Class students are not permitted to enter the Moon Dorms
- Night Class Students are not permitted to enter the Sun Dorms
- Females are not permitted to enter the Male Dorms
- Males are not permitted to enter the Female Dorms
- There will be two same sex couples to one Dorm room
- All lights out for Day Class Students is 9pm school days
- All lights out for Dar Class Students is 12pm Weekends
- All lights out for Night Class Students is 4am School Days
- All lights out for Night Class Students is 8am Weekends
